stater set up?

i just purchased a new stater and from my old one which has one coil pack, it has two coil packs on it one on top and bottom.

coming out of my brain i have 3 wires and my new stater has 6.

can i splice some together to make it fit. or am i gonna need a new brain to except for the additional wires.
