Mend Vauxhall Combo Diesel Van

Bleeding vauxhall combo diesel filter?

Anyone know how to get the diesel flowing thru the filter and the pump on my 1998 vauxhall combo van it has the 1.7 isuzu engine. it was running ok before i changed the fuel filter !!

The engine will start but only runs for a few mins, i assume because it aint drawing any fuel !!
any help would be appreciated !!

Just spent the last 2 days trying to work out why mine done the same thing on a fuel filter change.. runs for a bit then dies, put yer foot on the acce... dies... cut a centimetre of the the brass pipe which goes into the fuel filter, as soon as we done that it started straight away and runs perfectly

curtisy the haynes book;- it is not nessary to manualy prime the system simply crank the starter in the normal way in 10 second bursts with your foot rite down it can take a wile if the filter is empty . you cud help it by filling the filter with diesel before fitting
