Mend Rover 25 Engine

Rover 25 Fault?

my Rover 25 had a engine management light come on. |I had a test done locally and they said it had fault no. PO170 & PO302.
they turned the light out, but I am still worried . Doe's anyone know what these faults mean?

thank you for your reply Nigel, although I haven't got a clue what all this means.
Is this a serious problem?
Someone has suggested it could be a head gasket does that sound right?

Hi, my number dyslexia kicked in!! code 0302 is "cylinder 2 missfire detected" causes engine mechanical fault, wiring, ignition/fuel system, injector, engine coolant temp sensor/mass air flow sensor, ecu nige110162@hotmail.co.uk

Hi, code 0170 is "fuel trim malfunction" causes intake leak, air system, fuel pressure/pump, EVAP valve, lambda sensor.
code 0320 is "crank position sensor (ckp) engine speed sensor circuit malfunction" causes wiring, ckp/rpm sensor, ecu.
