car won t start rover25 being through big puddle lol ?

what can be wrong with this thing rover25 engine won t even go new starter fitted since puddle has any 1 ideas thanks

going through big puddle is not good if the car not turning over then you have hydrauliced the engine which basicly means that your air intake has sucked in water , and im afraid you could possibly need a new engine as their will be valve damage amongst other damage, that is if that is what has happened of course, worth getting it checked out mate
