Whats wrong with my car?

Last nite all dashboard lights were on and engine wouldnt start. This morning key fob wont open car! Its a 2000 Rover 25

hi helen try a new battery in your key fob when you change it and put in the new battery you have to press the left hand button on your fob 4 times to reprogramme the key then everything should be ok mechanic851atmsn.com
