Problem with Leisure Works treadmill Model no. 539?

My treadmill comes to a dead stop after walking on it for 11-14 minutes. I can get it to come back on for 3 minutes after it stops, then another dead stop. at that point i have to turn it off for a few hours and the process starts all over again. The treadbelt feels like it slips some when walking also. I have had the treadmill a couple years. But has had very little use.
