Mend Brandt Fridge Bought Second

how can I fix my brandt fridge freezer?

I bought it second hand (charity shop). It (apparently) worked in the shop. It was tested by an electrician. I let it stand after delivery. Now the light comes on but it doesn't get cold. No sounds coming from it.
