Uni-com Door chime?

I have a uni-com wireless door chime bought not soo long ago, but recently its started to sound without someone pressing the button, when this happen it plays a different chime to the one we have set it to play.

i did think it might be interferance from someones elses because the system is wireless but it seems to chime at very odd times, late at night and early mornings which i doubt someone would be callling round at that time?

Whats causing this to happen and how can i fix it?

Many thanks RAY RAY.
Used your link, found the instructions, just needed a new battery for the door push and now all work perfectly.

These wireless door chimes work using r. f. so any stray signal could set them off. I set off the door chime when i use the remote to lock/unlock the car !

in case someone still didn't find the answer, the original instruction manuals for uni-com door chimes can be found here

hello all you ghost busters ! i also have the uni-com door chime which uses mains power to work although the pushbutton outside has a wee battery - mine goes off at four am usually and emits four beeps then pauses then another four beeps and so on ad nauseum! what is the answer? mmm i have a wifi modem - could it be that - i also have wireless security (off at night) - so what is the answer - luckily i have the manual so will try changing channels to ensure a beepfree night !!

my unit does the exact same, im so relieved its not ghostys, mine plays a lullaby tune when theres no one at the door, which freaked me out coz its only got one chime sound and the option to have it high or low, mmm still a bit strange though.

I had a similar Uni-com device which chimed at the same times, it too rang a different tune (yellow rose of texas) when the 'ghost chime' was triggered. I thought that this may be the unit's way of indicating the bell-push battery is low so maybe try changing this.

I have one of these door chimes and it started to do the same when I installed a wireles electricity monitor (free offer in the Daily Mail in early January). It is possible to change the channel on the door chime to avoid interference with other devices but I have lost the original instructions and don't know how.
Have you or a close neighbour got one of these energy monitors?
