First thing I would do is check your oil level and top up as necessary. If there is no or next to no oil left you could have done serious damage. Filling it up to the correct level and take it for a short run to see if it smokes or not, and see if the warning light goes out or not. If you are lucky it might just be the oil pressure switch which is faulty and all will be ok. If you are not lucky it could be a lot more serious. Usually when you run with little or no oil the temprature creeps up a little more than normal. You also say that it was blowing oil out the breather, this could mean that there is a blockage in some part of the oilways hence blow back.
