Mend Pull Light Running

Pull Chord Disaster?

Hi

I have an old (rubbish) conversion. The Bathroom has the fan and light running from the pull chord. The Pull Chord is no longer "clicking" and it tripped a fuse. I reset and now the bathoom fan is on continuously but the lights are not working - and the chord does not seem to be pulling properly. Any ideas?

its possible your pull cord is broken but stuck on you need to turn off electric then replace and rewire pull cord as you removed

possibly light bulb blew fuse/tripped mcb .and with the pull sw not operating, its probably stuck in ON position.
