Mend Peugeot 807 Drivers Side

Peugeot 807 2.2 53 Reg. Diesel. Rattling noise?

Rattling noise on driver's side. Started off like a sewing machine, now louder. Not dependent on engine speed or car movement. Any clues?

try the vibational torsion damper at bottom of fanbelt, mine stripped the inner race and i had to replace it. It casued the sort of noise you are experiencing
