Mend Kenmore 90 Series Dryer Heating

Why won't the dryer door stay closed on my Kenmore 90 Series dryer?

I have the Kenmore 90 Series washer and dryer. Recently, the dryer door began popping open in the middle of a heating cycle. Sometimes it will stay closed for 5 minutes, and sometimes it will only stay closed for a matter of seconds. Can you help me with a do-it-yourself fix-it?
