Mend Scantronic 9448+ 9448 Code

scantronic 9448+ code?

I've just bought a house with a scantronic 9448+ system. The house was a repossession, no documents, so no code. I've removed the fuse, but does anyone know how I can get the code, or reset it ?!

The default user code is 1234
The default engineer code is 7890

You can easily default the system memory to factory defaults but you will also need an installation guide to reprogram.

To default (all programming to factory defaults):
1. Power down control panel - Mains & Battery
2. Locate Pins on motherboard marked 'RST'
3. Shirt 'RST' pins together - use a small screwdriver
4. Power system up (Mains) with RST pins still shorted, wait 5 seconds then remove the short (screwdriver). Connect your battery.
