Pity we can't 'copy / paste' I'd show you the bit in the manual that tells how to change the User Code.
Suggest you (gts) go and have a look at the User Manual yourself, you're wrong, I'm right. :-)

Re wind, you don't get the beeps after entering your existing code, only after the new code has been entered

hi GTS, I tried what you have suggested but I can't get it to work. I press number 6 then enter then enter my 4 digit code 6879 and enter 6879 again but there is no double beep. the panel is scantronic 9448
what am I doing wrong? help please.

6 enter, your old number,then your old number again,you will get two bleeps,then key in your new number
