vectra wont start cold?

telephone ta flavel and sons, stockton, (name and no in a google search) it is a diesel specialist. they actually make by hand, TWO non return valves which iliminate cold start problems. can be fixed for about 20 quid. but you will need both, its no good just putting one in

if not any of the other suggestions it may be the injector seals (easy to check just look in the fuel filter, if it has oil in it then its the injector seals or it could be the glow plug relay or fuel filter tops are well known to cause problems
and if not any of the above put it on a computer as it could be the fuel pump

my vectra has covered 54k, last night it cut out n won't start. I checked the dipstick and its bone dry, could this be the same probs? As its only done 54k i would of thought thats to low for the fuel pump to fail? any ideas????

i also have same problem iv changed leak of pipes, full service, non return valve, heater plugs, battery, it wont start with key when cold but it will bump start easy enuf. please help

TRY REPLACING YOUR DIESEL PUMP LEAK OFF PIPES I HAVE THE EXACT SAME CAR AND EACH TIME I HAD THIS PROBLEM IT WAS THE LEAK OFF PIPES.THEY ONLY LAST ABOUT 2 YEARS CHEAP TO REPLACE THOUGH

you need to check heater plugs if its diesel
