My vectra will not start in morning or if I leave it for anytime all the lights in dash come on new battery got yesterday it is making no noise at all not even clicking it will then start for a couple of seconds then cut out then about ten mins later after trying umpteen times will start runs fine will start no probs but if I leave it for any length of time it won't start
if you are getting a 12v feed when you try to crank over to your small wire on the starter and all your wiring connections from battery down to starter are ok then you may have a faulty starter
