I want to stop my seat leon (2005 old model) from locking when I drive off?

These systems are a safety thingy to stop kiddies opening doors whilst your moving, dont think you can turn it off. But you should be able to reset the system ,I have a vectra and to reset I sit in the car and first place the key in the ignition turn it on but dont start it , then turn it off take out the key and lock the car with the fob while you are still in the car , this resets the system.
