How can i fix my simpson esprit 750 22s750 washing machine?

How do you fix a Simpson esprit 750 that the dial won't turn to go through the cycles

There is no reset switch as such. What I suspect has happened is the out of balance lever which is part of the lid switch, has received a knock and has not returned to the run position. Lift the lid slowly up & down. You should hear the lid switch click on & off as you raise & lower the lid. If you can't hear it then put your hand through the gap between the top of the bowl & the top deck of the machine on the right hand side at the back. Feel around until you locate the out of balance lever and gently pull it forward and hopefully it will drop back in to place.
