Iveco Daily 35/10 poor starter pre heat problem?

direct injection will only start if the engine turns over very fast try putting jump leads on it then if it starts its proberbly the starting motor thats at fault not easy to change also check battery connections and starter connections mine was a pig to start untill i changed the starting motor now you just touch the key and off she goes.

on the intake ducting u will find a heater plug which heats the air prior to compression, also there is a fuel heater to the o/s of the block.
