Mend Kawasaki KLR 650 High Gear Fine

My Kawasaki KLR 650 loses power at high revs, but only when in gear?

KLR 650 revs fine when in neutral, but in gear and riding, it feels like it's hitting the rev limiter with about 40% revs still to go.

I had a similar problem with my honda slr 650 and that turned out to be a blocked air filter

Engines dont need much fuel in neutral,no load.First check the fuel delivery from the tank tap.then its carb strip down time.not too big a job,recommend a manual though.
