How to unblock pump on Bosch Logixx 1600 washing machine?

Hi, after unscrewing back you can put some mole grips or pliers on the clip that holds the mains hose on and pull the main rubber tube from the drum off.

You can then put you fingers in the large hole and clear the pump. This should only be necessary if the front pump cap won't come off because the item blocking the pump is big enough to stop the cap on the front opening.

Remember to turn off the electric and to drain the drum using the tube by the pump cap.

I think youre looking at the filter rather than the pump.
Pump removal: power off, drag machine out onto the floor, remove back cover or tip machine up at an angle, locate pump, (attached to other end of drain pipe).undo 2 wiring connections, 2 hose connections, and pump mounting screws. Remove pump chamber - some are held in with screws, others clip into place. Check for foreign objects round the impeller. If pump chamber is clear, may be a fault with the pump motor - in which case, replace the pump.
