Mend Indesit WE12 S Washing Machine Fault Engineer

Indesit WE12 S fabric softner stays in tray and not being used during cycle?

After any full cycle the fabric softner compartment of the draw is still full.

Can anyone tell me if this can be sorted out? I had an engineer come out two weeks ago to fix a different fault and told him about it and he said that he had had a look and sorted the problem. However a week later the same thing is happening!

Fabric conditioner is taken from the detergent tray by siphon action. Most likely flexible siphon pipe is blocked. Power off, drag machine out onto the floor, remove machine top, identify the pipe coming from the softener compartment, detach and clean.The siphon action to lift conditioner is generally activated by a mechanical linkage from on of the cams on the programmer. Some other machines have a small motor to activate the conditioner dispenser. Check any linkages, after that disassemble the dispenser body to check for internal blockages in the air channels.
