help van keeps cutting out?

renault kangoo sl17dci when driving along cuts out garage says air in fuel pipe had new fuel pipe still cutting out randomly garage says need new electric pump? cost £800 any ideas?

idle controle valve sensor (£100 inc vat) dead cert !!!! take it off clean it up (remove carbon) put it back see if any change, if so replace because it wont last forever. hope this helps
