Mend C&M Calydra Boiler Fault Lockout

C&M Calydra combination boiler?

Boiler runs ok, and then the red light comes on indicationg lock out / flame failure, any ideas as to what the fault is, and the solution.

my boiler goes on to heating when it is just on hot water what do you think is wrong iam 72 and i had some one out to look at it and he has told me i need a new boiler its 10 years old he told me there wasant eny spares .
