Mend Diplomat ADP 8630 Dishwasher Button Machine

diplomat dishwasher ADP 8630?

i had a problem with start/stop button on the machine. i removed the pcb board and after cleaning the small switch i got continuity and everything was good. put everything back together but when i turn the machine on the salt level and rinse aid indicators are lit and the program indicator stays on "no heat program". I cannot change the programms using the button, but the stop start button is working fine. The dishwasher will work ok on the no heat program.

Hi foxy,
many thanks for your reply, have tried your suggestion to no avail. When i held down the start button the start/stop indicator light flashed, not the program light. Also you would normally change the water hardness settings by holding down the program button and this does not respond either. Double checked the switch on the pcb and it works, so i think your correct and will need a new pcb. Best get shopping on-line for the best deal, once again many thanks for your efforts

Hi Tony, by the sound of it there is a fault with the pcb.If it works only on the no heat prog,the heater is disengaged.If you cannot change programmes,the only part stopping you is the pcb.Have you tried aborting the programme by keeping your finger on the start button till the prog light flashes,close the door and wait for the end bleep.All the best.
