Could be wash motor has seized due to a leak from its shaft seal or if it hasnt been used for a long time the shaft seal can stick . Or the motor capacitor is faulty, Or a piece of china or glass is stuck in the impellor housing. I would check the motor is free to turn first. unplug machine, remove right hand side panel 2 screws at front (sometimes have to remove lid first to make it easier 2 plastic clips at rear) then push the rotor of the motor round be careful not to slip and damage the windings. If not stuck the prob could be the capacitor mounted on the motor.Cheers
