Mend Merry Tiller Wolseley Major Briggs Stratton 5hp

Merry Tiller Wolseley Major?

I have a Merry Tiller Wolsley Major with Briggs and Stratton 5hp 206cc engine but cannot get a spark from it..it has coil on outside of flywheel..and a set of points next to the crank..any ideas?..many thanks..

Hi Leo: I do have an idea of what your problem is. you should try resetting the breaker points to their specifications which is (0.20) thousands. and reset the coil to (0.10) thousands and reset the spark plug to (0.30) thousands and your engine will run liike new.
