sagem digi box freezing?

my digi box works fine then it starts to freeze then switch itself off and on again its getting really annoying does anyone have any idea what the problem could be cheers

Further to my last answer:
I now leave the digibox switched on all the time, I do get the odd channel change, but in the minority.
The performance of the box has improved

Is it the internal battery not holding the memory?
When mine does it it always says it has found new channels.

I am in the process of kepping it switched on all the time. This way it will resolve the battery question.

yep mine does it too suppose just somethink you have to live with also can't get bbc4 or bbc radio channels since i've rescanned to get dave+1hr on channel25

mine does this too. on the hour every hour! i dont think its a mechanical problem. i think its a software thing. mine also changes channel when we switch the light on! lol

Dunno but our Sagem does the same thing. When it comes back on, the volume's changed as well.

Some days worse than others too.. I wonder if it overheats..
