AEG dishwasher it's pump seems to be stuck on unless i take out the plug?

hia hopping you can help me iv looked it over but dont really know what im doing with dishwashers and i dont really want to open her up unless i know what the actuall problem may be, when plugged in she continuasly pumps out even with the on off switch turned off, with the switch on sh will run throught the cycle taking water in that then is pumped straight back out again the cycle will stop if i turn her of at her swtich but the pump continues the only way to stop the pump is to turn it of at the plug cant find any other question similar sorry hoping you can help
