Mend LG Machine Spin Told

washing machine?

Lg washing machine power button non responsive along with spin button. Been told over phone it could be PCB problem and it would be expensive. Any ideas?

Press the two buttons that are connected with the picture of a child together for 5 seconds to restore to normal.
