Mend Hoover HSPF167 Washing Machine Motor Drum

Hoover Select 1600 HSPF167 not spinning?

My washing machine is working but not spinning. I have checked that the belt is ok and also had the motor checked and have been told that it is working fine. When I run a cycle the drum does not spin. The motor still does not seem to work even though I have had it tested. What could be the problem?

I have just had the same problem. We cleared all the hoses & filter, found a coin & a large button, but still not spin or empty. I have now purchased a drain pump less than £20.00 and hubby will fit it later. I will let you know if it works.
