Mend Renault Kangoo Common Fault

How can I fix my Renault Kangoo flasher unit?

How can I fix my Renault Kangoo flasher unit? It continously cliks on and off but does not effect the indicators. I have tried a new flasher unit but this makes no difference. Is this a common fault?
