CAR TO STOP BURNING OIL?

I HAVE A AUDI TT, 2001, 225bhp. 131637 MILES. BURNING A LOT OF OIL. WHITE SMOKE FROM EXHAUST. CHEAPEST WAY OF SOLVING THIS PROB?
