Mend Simpson Washing Clothes

Simpson washing machine doesn't filter lint?

My washing machine no longer seems to filter out the lint.. the lint tap at the top no longer needs emptying and the clothes are covered in lint. i have tried doing a very hot wash and running vinegar through it.. any other ideas?
