Mend Landis & Gyr Central System Hot

Operating Instructions?

Does anyone know where i can get operating instrucions for a Landis & Gyr central heating/hot water system? I want the water to get hot only, but when I switch the heating to off and the water to on, both come on? Never had gas before, please help!

It all depends on the age of the appliance Sandra.Do all the rads get hot even downstairs,if so then there may be a faulty motorised valve on the system.If it is an old boiler it may be gravity fed and the rads upstairs will get hot even though the clock is on dhw only.The only way to stop them getting hot is to manually close them
