Mend Landis & Gyr Central Heating Boiler Control

how do I fix my boiler control , Landis & Gyr, Model ? circular dial ?

When control on my old Landis & Gyr circular boiler control is set to hot water only , cental heating kicks in at the same time and i cannot turn off, as anyone any suggestions?
I am running a Baxi wall mounted boiler.
