no heat on bosch condenser dryer/?

bosch notorious for element failure. Cost £90-00 for new one. Take off rear access panel to expose wiring to thermostat and element. If you have power to element terminals (test with lamp bulb on a lead across the element terminals with tumble dryer on a high heat programme, but only do this if you are confident with electricity) If lamp does not light up its the element. If it does ,possibly thermostats, or programmer. access to element is by undoing screws from cover disconnecting wires (with power disconnected) and sliding it out.
