Mend Kenmore Door Close Inside

my kenmore refrigerator door won't close?

i cleaned out my frige today and by the time i was done the door won't close its a side by side kenmore. i made sure that nothing in the inside is sticking out to prevent the door from closing. the door closes all the way but won't stay closed as if whatever holds it closed is gone. what can i do

It is the cam assembly at the bottom hinge. it is a plastic piece that lets the door close after it reaches a certiain position. I have ordered the parts and I'm going to try and change them out for a friend. I just have to figure out if I have to remove the whole door to do it. I could use some info on that. The parts are not expensive. It's just that the plastic cam breaks.
