Mend Kenmore 12714090 Sewing Machine Thread Repair

bobbin gone haywire?

The bobbin thread keeps getting caught up inside the bobbin case, producing a massive tangle of thread. Kenmore 14 model 12714090. I then loosened the housing for the bobbin and removed the outer ring and the spindle housing came out. I don't know how to put it back together. HELP!

Hello Donna,
I sent you an e-mail but of course I did not read this question on this site first, make sure you have your tensions set where they should be, top tension between 4 and 6 and make sure the presser foot is up when you thread the machine, you should be able to just pull the bottom thread through with some resistence.
