my peugeot 307 53 plate horn has stopped working?

i connected a cable from the bulkhead to the column assembley. this is a commont fault with adjustable steering columns. earth problems are common on peugeots.

I have just taken my peugeot 307 to the peugeot garage, and they did it for free! they simply took off the airbag front without disabling it wiggled a few wires around and its as good as new!

You will need to remove airbag for this 1 as behind it there is the horn contacts unless you are mechanicaly trained i would not advise removing the airbag ! But if you are you need to replace the electrical terminal for the horn contact which is pushed through the steering wheel through a rectangle hole cut the terminal off and replace with eyelet terminal you will then need to drill steering wheel with small drill bit near where wire removed WARNING drill carefully then secure terminal with self tapping screw. in rare cases it can be the horn which is located on the passengers side front behind the bumper
