Peugeot 307 heater blower?

I had the same problem, I replaced the resistor under advisement but it turned out to be the fan itself. You have to remove the glove box and any panels near the centre console. You have to lie on your back inside looking up at the fan. unplug and twist the fan housing until you feel it become loose, carefully wiggle it through all the wiring harnesses. Can be tricky but don't force it through, fitting is the just the reverse. Hope it helps anyone else.
