Briggs Stratton Starter?

Briggs Stratton 19 h.p. Model 42e707 on Craftsman lawnmower. The electric starter spins, but doesn't turn the engine. Like the Bendix is stuck??
How do I remove the starter, if necessary??

Remove the cowling. This wll allow you to examine the bendix and decide what to do about it. The bendix drive is available as a spare part.
