Mend Peugeot 306 Problem Switch Checked

HOW TO FIX HEADLIGHT PROBLEM ON PUG 306?

MY LIGHTS NO LONGER WORK VIA THE STALK SWITCH, HAVE CHECKED ALL FUSES AND RELAYS AND ALL IS WELL. BULBS ARE ALL FINE. HAVENT YET CHECKED DIM DIP RESISTOR, BUT THIS IS WHERE IT GETS GOOD, I CAN SWITCH ON THE STALK AND RUN A LIVE TO THE HEADLIGHTS OR THE BACK OF THE RELAY AND THEY COME ON AND STAY ON? CHECKING DIM DIP TOMMOROW. FINGERS CROSSED FOR AN ANSWER ON HERE FIRST.. MANY THANKS,

every peugoet that i have had that problem with has been the stalk switch itself.its seems to be a common problem with them.
