Mend Hoover D6384 Cold Element

How can i fix my Hoover Logic Reversing Dryer (D6384)?

Machine working fine, but only cold air not hot - any suggestions - Thermostat, heating element ? Many thanks

Hoover Hoover D6384 Household Appliances, Tumble Dryers Hoover Cold Element

Take the drum out from the back, the heating element is a wire coil if broke it will be obvous.You will need to remove the fan and belt and other bits ,a fiddly job , to do and to refit, an extra pair of hands also to get the drum out . a worthwhile job is to clean out the fluff which can cause fires!!
