Your timer could be bad. I'm trying to find a timer for my washer as well. Flooded my basement needless to say, I'm p*ssed. But the cycle won't go from fill-up to rinse or anything. I have to stand there and twist the nob manually to get it into the next cycle. Where can I find a timer. And how do I switch it out.
