How do you open the filter? (Washing machine, Hotpoint, WM 54)?
How do I unclip each end of the black hose to reach the filter? In every other washing machine type the filter is at the front but in hotpoints the filter is hard to get to, we know where it is but we need to don't know how to unclip the black hose on each side, the problem with it is that the filter is blocked and we need to unblock the filter, help please?
There is a special tool to unclip these hose clips which is basically a large set of pliers with special ends. You can usually get them off with just a large pair of flat ended pliers. Just undo the bottom one and the plastic filter will come out.
