I have exactly the same problem. My boiler is covered by Domestic and General appliance insurance. The engineer has just replaced significant parts, but the problem still persists and the engineer says that he is baffled as to the source of the problem. Im not sure yet how he insurance company will resolve this matter. They may pay the maximum under the policy, in which case I will simply replace the boiler.
I have my vokera boiler since august 2004. My wife maintains that the boiler never fully functioned from day one. Other people tell me to never buy a vokera boiler, but it is too late.
