Volkswagen Polo 1.0 Litre 1997 Year. I just wanted to know do you just disconnect the wiring loom and unbolt the old starter motor. Then replace it with the new one, bolt it back in and then connect the wiring loom up again.
my car is 2001 plate and defo needs new starter motor how do i do this

yes, you disconnect the wiring from all side's then dissconnect your battery, and should pull sraight out and fit in your new starter motor. and put all it back together how it came out

Yeah but make sure you disconnect the battery before working on it and make sure you have a code for the radio if needed
