7" portable dvd has no picture I only get a partial white/black picture?

How can I fix the 7" picture of a polariod portable dvd player. I just get a partial white and black picture.

Yes, it just started doing that. I tried another dvd and it still does the same thing.

Has it ever worked? or is it only with certain dvd's you get this problem? Could be a DVD region problem.
