hi their i have a merc vito van 1999 treg,all of a sudden the disel pre heater sign has come on,and stays on any help?

Most common on these vans is corrosion they rust like mad cause they were built in spain and the bodywork was not galvanised from factory. That was the reason i never bought 1 my mate couldn't stop the rust, he ended up getting shot of it, he also had some niggle electrical problems.
